Waipi'o Valley Hike and History

Join me for a hike or walk along the black sand beach of Waipi’o Valley, then venture up the King's Trail, exploring rare archaeological sites, native plants, and Hawaiian taro patches. We will hike the trails, swim in the rivers, and take a lot of photos on my iPhone that we will share before you depart. Aloha! My family has lived for generations on Hawaii Island. We raise Kalo in the valley and know it very well. I’m interested in nature, Hawaiian history and culture, and the protection of this unique and special island. I look forward to meeting you!
